Wilson Combat Match Grade Barrel Barrel 556NATO 16" Stainless 1:8 Twist, 5/8" x 24 Thread Pitch Tactical Lightweight AR Rifles TR-556LW16-18

Nearly two decades of building the finest custom tactical AR-15 rifles have given us the insight to develop a comprehensive line of stainless steel, match grade barrels that offer superior accuracy, reliability and longevity for your next custom AR rifle project.

All Wilson Combat Match Grade AR-15 barrels are precisely crafted of the finest American-made 416R rifle rated steel on computer controlled equipment to our exacting list of technical specifications. These proven barrels feature a hand-polished bore and feedramps and then complete a rigorous final inspection process that ensures your new barrel will meet your most demanding expectations. All barrels feature crisp CNC markings, precision muzzle crown and a chamber and gas port optimized for reliability.

5.56 NATO

5.56 NATO was developed in the United States and initially chambered in the M16 rifle. It is the standard cartridge for NATO forces as well as many non-NATO countries. It is derived from, but not identical to, the .223 Remington cartridge. We use a NATO, mil-spec chamber in our barrels that is reliable and safe to fire both 5.56 and .223 Remington rounds. This common and easy-to shoot cartridge is ideal for defense, training and small-medium game hunting.

When light weight, fast-handling and Wilson reliability is what you demand in your next carbine, you need our Tactical Lightweight barrel The lightweight barrel taper shaves almost six ounces off our Recon model and converts your AR into an easy to carry rifle for long days in the field without any loss in practical accuracy.  The Tactical Lightweight is an ideal choice for hunting rifles or a gun for a smaller statured shooter.

It's hard to believe but there are no questions for this product.

WOW! all I can say... 1 inch group at 200yds first time out!!!!!!!!..
Barrel is high quality as it gets. Thin profile does not affect accuracy and it is perfect for a lightweight build. Put the barrel on a aero precision upper and lower and used a fortis muzzle brake and was shooting 3/4 inch groups at 100yds, and 1 inch groups at 200yds! Nuf said. I was using 69gr SMK loaded by fiocci as well. I only use WC barrels for my builds for a reason.

Awesome light weight barrel..
I purchase this barrel with the low profile gas block & accu-tac flash hider. The fit and finish was perfect. It was very easy to install. I went to the range with hand loads of Hornady 75 grain BTHP over 24 grains of varget & federal small rifle match primers. The combo was printing 1/2inch groups with a Leupold mark 4 1.5-5x20MM MR/T with out the muzzle flash and the obnoxious added noise of a standard muzzle brake / flash hider. I am very pleased will all of Wilson Combats products that purchased at a very affordable price.

Worth the investment..
I put this barrel on my AR-15 and was off to go shoot an AQT. I shot a score of 223 out of 250, my best score yet. Barrels arnt cheap, especially ones of quality. However, I know that my investment in this barrel will being paying off for years to come.
